After 53 years at the corner of Herald and Harrison Avenue in the South End, The  Boston Herald will be moving it's headquarters to the Seaport District or Innovation District, whichever you prefer! The Herald will occupy 51,000 square feet at the Seaport Center (451 D Street), which is located at the corner of D and L Street. It is an ideal location with the Westin Hotel and Convention Center directly across the street. The Herald likes the swanky amenities they will now have access which includes a fitness center, deli/restaurant, conference center and a shuttle from North and South Stations. Other occupants of the building include JP Morgan Chase, Verizon and Monster. They signed a 10 year lease at the Seaport Center which now brings the occupancy rate to 92%.
