Martha's Vineyard History For Sale: A home fit for a President...

The home on Martha's Vineyard that President Barack Obama vacationed at for a week prior to his Presidency and visited several times after becoming President of the United States in 2008 has been put on the market for sale.  President Obama's Senior Advisor, Valerie Jarrett rented the estate on historic and prestigious East Chop for several years and the First Family and Jarrett vacationed there prior to and after he became the leader of the free world.  For Secret Service security reasons, Jarrett and the Obama's were moved to a more remote location towards the middle of the island over the past several years.  Obama missed the home, which was also once the site of the historic Highland House Hotel, and the waterfront and he especially enjoyed his trips over to Nancy's Restaurant on Oak Bluff's Harbor to pick up take-out to bring back to eat on the deck of the home while overlooking the boats and ferries on Nantucket Sound.  If someone is looking for a little piece of history this home on historic East Chop (Click here for photos)should certainly be put on the top of the shopping list as its not too often that you can say that this is where the President of the United States once stayed...
